Chippewa Flowage fishing report 7.12.10

Walleye:
Walleye fishing is still tough.  Hopefully the forage situation will
thin out soon and they'll start hitting a little better.

Muskie:
Muskie fishing is so-so.  Most action is on surface baits with bucktails a close second.

Crappie:
Crappie fishing is still good on the bogs before dark on minnows.

Panfish:
Bluegill are scattered but biting---fish the deeper weeds and brush.

Bass:
Bass fishing sounds a little slow but there's a bass contest this week
so we'll find out what's going on and I'll let you know in my next
report.

Weather report

Sounds like a nice week in the mid to upper 70's with a chance of rain on Wed.

Water temperature

Pretty much in the mid 70's.

Lake level

Still lots of water.  The lake is only a few inches from full, and it's
never full this time of year.
