Xcel Energy and the Indianhead Chapter of the National Wild

disabilities
on Saturday, Oct. 5, at Xcel Energys 4,400-acre Tyrone Property near Durand. The event is open to applicants with any type of physically challenging disability. Up to six hunters will be accompanied by a mentor during the hunt to offer any assistance that may be needed in the field. The free event includes hunting orientation and safety discussion with a Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources representative; lunch, snacks and refreshments; and an afternoon of hunting. The day will conclude with hunting tales and stories around the
campfire. Hunters must possess a valid Class A, long-term Class B that authorizes shooting from a vehicle, Class C or Class D Disabled Hunting Permit and a current gun deer hunting license to participate in the disabled deer hunt.
