Chippewa Flowage Fishing report 10.5.11

Weather report

Wonderful week coming up.  70's and dry.

Water temperature

Seems to be running in the mid to upper 50's.

Water level

Holding it's own--not much of a change since last time--still a litle
over two feet down.

Fall colors

Pretty nice.  Right around peak.

Fall tournament

The Muskies Inc Fall Tournament was pretty good.  79 fish were caught.
The biggest fish was 51 inches--it came off the Flowage!!!

Walleye:
Not much new to say about the walleye fishing.  It's not very exciting.

Muskie:
Muskie action isn't too bad.  Most of the action is on jerk baits,
bucktails and suckers.

Crappie:

The crappie action is ok.  A lot of action still on the cribs because
the water hasn't gotten quite cold enough to bunch them up yet.  Moore's Bay action is scattered.
