Burnett County Forest & Parks ATV Update
« on: November 15, 2010, 12:49:52 PM »
Burnett County  Forest & Parks

First notice of the season being snow has arrived!  This time of the year our state funded trails are marked as closed. From September 16th through November 30th you can ride your ATV & UTV* on any woods trail, snowmobile trail, and ATV trail as long as they are located on County Forest Lands and they are not bermed, gated, or signed as closed ? and they need to be at least eight feet wide. No off trail use is allowed and operation on private lands is illegal unless you have permission from the private landowner.

Our website lists this as our ?snowmobile report?:

Snowmobile Update:

There is an "Antlerless Only Gun Hunt" from December 9-12.  Because of this, our snowmobile trails will remain closed regardless of snowfall amounts until December 13.  Be sure to check back for conditions and news on when trails will be open after that date.
