Youth Gun Deer Hunt Weekend, October 9-10
The annual Wisconsin youth gun deer hunt will take place this weekend, Oct. 9-10. Youths ages 12-15 who have completed a hunter safety course must be accompanied by an adult during the hunt. Youth hunters ages 12-15 who have not completed hunter safety, or any youths 10-11 years of age will be eligible to hunt under the "Mentored Hunting Program" guidelines.
All archery deer, small game, bear, and turkey hunters are reminded to follow blaze orange requirements while gun deer seasons are in effect.
