Please call the Dane County Parks hotline for the most up-to-date trail conditions at 608.242.4576. The recorded message will be updated daily at 8am and 4pm as conditions warrant. Current trail conditions are also updated on their web site: Dane County Parks.

Snow Updates
* Friday, 12/19/08: Effective 9:00 AM, All Dane County Snowmobile Trails are open. This includes the Glacial Drumlin and Military Ridge State Trail.
* Friday, 12/19/08: Effective 6:00 AM, Snowmobile Trails within the Northwest Quadrant of Dane County will open. This Quadrant is bordered by STH 51 on the East and STH 18/151 on the South. The area includes the Military Ridge State Trail. All other County snowmobile trails continue to be closed. This includes the Glacial Drumlin State Trail in Dane County.
* Saturday, 12/13/08: Effective 6:00 AM, all Dane County snowmobile trails will be closed. This includes the Glacial Drumlin and Military Ridge Trails in Dane County. Due to the anticipated warmer weather, snowmobile trails are expected to deteriorate quickly, prompting Dane County Parks and the Dane County Council of Snowmobile Clubs to close trails. Trails will reopen when there is at least (6) six inches of snow for a trail-base and steady temperatures below freezing.
* Tuesday, 12/09/08: Dane County has received new snow. All trails are currently open.
