Price County Winter Trail Report 3/5/09
As of Thursday, March 4, Price County snowmobile trails are in good to poor late-winter riding condition. All trails have been groomed and are smooth, and trails in the woods are good; however, there are bare sections in open areas and road routes are bare. If you plan to ride, choose a wooded area where the trail is protected from the sun. The high is expected to be near 40 today and Friday, then in the low 30s Sat. and Sun. If we get the snow predicted for Saturday and Sunday, grooming will resume next week. Price County trails will not close until April 1.
Price County’s nine cross-country ski trails are currently in excellent to fair condition. Trails have a good base and are being groomed when conditions permit. To view a detailed grooming report by individual ski trail, visit our website at
