Ashland, Lake Superior Fishing Report

Fishing Report: June 6th:[/b]

The Big Lake has great fishing right now. Bass are biting and starting to make beds and the trolling has been bringing in Trout and Salmon for the Anglers on the outside of the Bay. Most fishing is being done at Sand Cut, Oak Point and Brush Point areas, depending on water clarity. Trout and Salmon fishing has been very good in the shallower waters. Fishing has been most productive trolling along the mud lines with stickbaits. The Inlands are having good luck with Bass, Walleye, Northern and Pan Fish are starting to make beds.

Call the local bait shops for any fishing news! (Anglers All, 715-682-5754 or River Rock, 715-682-3232).  It?s time to plan a fun fishing trip to Ashland, Lake Superior?s Hometown!
