Share your time and talents with the  this spring!  The newest DNR volunteer opportunities are now posted on our website at http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/volunteering/index.html

 What types of volunteer positions are listed for this spring?  The DNR is looking for assistance with a dragonfly survey, loon monitoring, frog and toad calling survey, fishing clinics, being a Campground Host in a State Park or State Forest, bluebird monitoring, acting at the Conservation Officer Academy, building nesting boxes, planting trees, searching for rare plants, scanning water permits, library database searches, and clearing trails, to name just a few.

Check them out to see what you might get involved in!  These opportunities cover the months of March – May and early June.

 Click on the geographic region listed in the sidebar to find the volunteer positions available in your part of the state.  Statewide opportunities are available to people across the entire state.  Individuals, families, and groups are welcome to participate.  Children under the age of 16 must be under adult supervision to volunteer.

 If a DNR opportunity is not listed for your area, feel free to contact your local DNR office to inquiry about available volunteer positions.  To find the number and location of your local office, call the DNR Information Center toll free at 1-888-MINNDNR  (1-888-646-6367).
