Saw a Cougar this morning!
My wife is a school bus driver and she witnessed a Cougar crossing a field this morning while doing her run. This happened just south of Eau Claire early this morning. There were at least 10 other cars that were stopped by the side of the rode and were watching the Cougar.
Quite a site, she tells me that it was a very big animal and just leisurely walked across the field, not in a hurry at all swishing its tail.
Interesting because the DNR just has been telling everyone to watch out for Cougars this fall when hunting...
