The Point Basse Pioneer Festival is the premier event at Historic Point
Basse. The 2-day event is open to the public and takes place the second
full weekend in June.

Visit the site and participate in the activities of the day. Enjoy the
demonstration of period crafts, eat period foods, enjoy period
entertainment. The festival offers fun for the whole family. Enactments,
walking tours, music, ethnic dancing.

Be a judge in the Iron Chef cooking contest. Purchase a bowl for $5.00
and then sample each chef's entry. Judge which one is the best and then
take the bowl home as a souvenir.

At the Point Basse Pioneer Festival various demonstrators and crafters
will be at the site.

Re-enactors, craftsmen, and entertainers of the period mingle with the
crowds.

$5 per adult
$2 per child.
