16th Annual Wood County Master Gardeners Garden Walk

When:  Saturday, July 18, 2015, 9:30 am ? 3:30 pm

Wis. Rapids Community Garden Spruce and Hill, Wis. Rapids
Anderson 8121 Grant Rd, Arpin
Winkels 8663 Sunrise Lane, Pittsville
Rademan 7111 East Lane, Pittsville
Schubert 5175 Wolf Rd, Pittsville
Historical Society 8256 Monroe St, Pittsville

Welcome to the 16th Annual Garden Walk sponsored by the Wood County
Master Gardener Volunteers.  This year we feature 6 gardens in the
Pittsville and Wisconsin Rapids areas.  These beautiful gardens range
from a community garden to several large ?country? gardens to an in-town
historical property.  One garden offers a front-yard prairie and another
is located along the beautiful Yellow River.  Each garden will give you
ideas that you can incorporate into your own yard.
We are featuring a cooking demonstration by the Baker Street Grill chef,
musicians and artists and an educational booth related to food and
health. Art in the Garden Boutique at the Pittsville Historical Society.
There will also be free refreshments and snacks at the Pittsville
Historical Society.

Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 on the day of the walk.  Advance
tickets will be available after June 1st at the following locations:
Wood County UW-Extension office, 400 Market St, Wis. Rapids.  Office
hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm, Mon ? Fri.
Daly Drug in Wisconsin Rapids
Gathering Place in Pittsville
Baum?s Mercantile in Pittsville
Schalow's Nursery in Marshfield
Hillers True Value in Marshfield
Wood Co. Master Gardener.
Tickets can also be purchased at any of the private gardens during the
Garden Walk event.
