Is the beach private? While all beaches in Mexico are public areas by law, the beach at MYK is in the middle of the jungle so guests have a lot of privacy staying on the beach in front of Mayakoba. Cenotes are an extensive subterranean fresh water cavern system. There are many diving tours available in the cenotes, as well as snorkelling or the possibility of just swimming.
